PRC is a complete physical training program. PRC is structured around a philosophy that believes: (1) Quality training produces quality results. (2) Proper body position, in all athletic exercises and movements, dictates peak performance and injury prevention. (3) Programs that consistently produce proven results are science based in nature, supervised by an experienced strength coach and executed by athletes that understand the principles of training. (ie.) technique, tempo, rest, nutrition, sleep and intensity.
PRC always incorporates a dose of each of the following; an individual movement screen, complete fitness assessment, prehabilitation exercises, individual strength training protocol, functional mobility exercises, speed & agility drills and fun skill building games. The program is taught through a series of clinics and hands on workshops. We offer structured clinics that focus on conditioning each athlete over a 5-8 week period. We also offer 1 or 2 hour seminar sessions that provide athletes and coaches with more tools for their tool bag. The summer clinics are an opportunity for each athlete to develop greater; maximal force production, acceleration power and acceleration skills without risking injury to his/her joints and ligaments. PRC structures specific multiple joint movement exercises and drills that directly mimic the actual demands placed on the body during sports.
PRC’s structured teaching stations, allow for a more predictable and technique orientated environment for all athletes. In a structured environment , athletes are better able to work on developing stabilizer muscles in their; ankles, knees, hip flexors, lumbar spine, thoracic spine and scapula area. Moreover, athletes that have spent quality time in a structured speed & agility program, develop greater strength in these critical stabilizer areas. As a result, they tend to dramatically decrease their risk of injury while participating in the unpredictable world of sports.
Sports conditioning for explosive quickness, acceleration, power and change of direction are techniques and movement patterns that can be taught. Our staff will only ask each athlete to perform movement exercises that are proven safe, sport functional, extremely effective and absolutely fun. Our movement selections and progressions are based on the latest training techniques from the NSCA and other expert trainers in the field of athletic sport performance.
